Admission to Practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas
The Court admission application, fees, and ceremony are entirely separate from the FBA Seminar registration and its fees.
The FBA does not make any decisions on whether an attorney is approved for admission to the Bar of the Court. Among other things, the Court’s Admission Committee requires a written application for admission to practice before the Court, supported by specified materials, and an admissions fee paid to the District Clerk.
Please contact the United States District Clerk’s Office (210-472-6550, ext. 222) with any questions relating to admission requirements for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. The FBA cannot answer any questions that you have about admission to practice in the Western District.
